Beacon Communications (Japan)

Beacon Communications is the Tokyo-based joint venture between Publicis Groupe and Dentsu, which serves as the local office for the Leo Burnett network. It continued as before despite the effective dissolution of Publicis and Dentsu's wider alliance in 2012. However in 2017 it is being absorbed into the consolidated Publicis One Japan entity alongside local offices of Saatchi & Saatchi and MSLGroup.

Adbrands Weekly Update 28th Aug 2014: Ads Of The Week: "Laundry Science". Here's another P&G spot, this time from its Japanese agency Beacon Communications for Ariel detergent. Ads featuring Rube Goldberg machines are always irresistible, but few are as wittily inventive and gloriously messy as this. Definitely a cut above the mainstream of Japanese advertising.
