Independent company Innocent Drinks has snapped up a leading position in UK supermarkets with its range of lovingly prepared fresh fruit smoothies. Assisted by quirky and offbeat marketing, Innocent has been one of the country's fastest growing food and drink products since 2000, and now ranks among the UK's top 50 supermarket brands, with sales in excess of £100m. During 2008 the company expanded its footprint into traditional orange juice as well as vegetable ready meals, and has announced plans to build its presence in foods further during 2009.
