Campbell Mithun (the Esty was dropped from the name in 2000) is one of America's biggest regional agencies, still headquartered in Minneapolis. The business sits loosely within the Interpublic portfolio - the marketing giant has an 80% stake. Campbell Mithun has a long and storied background, but new business performance has been patchy in recent years, and the agency tends to be overly reliant on a small collection of core clients such as General Mills and H&R Block.
