CommonHealth (US)


CommonHealth is one of the world's biggest healthcare communications
groups, and is the main health marketing brand in the WPP portfolio. In fact,
CommonHealth is not so much a single entity as the umbrella used by a collection of more than 12 specialist agencies operating in
every field of healthcare marketing, from professional B2B to highly specialised areas including clinical research, managed care
or medical education. Subsidiary units include professional marketing agencies Ferguson, Altum and Carbon. In 2010, WPP
announced the merger of the existing CommonHealth business with stablemate Ogilvy
Healthworld under the banner Ogilvy CommonHealth. The combination of the two networks is due to be completed by the
end of the year.
