Doner (US)

Doner is one of the world's biggest independent advertising agencies. (It lost its position as the biggest in the US in 2007 to rival Richards). Although it operates mainly in the US, Doner also has a presence in Canada and the UK through local unit Doner Cardwell Hawkins. Doner has grown rapidly since the late 1990s, due in no small part to the capture of the Mazda account in 1997. It is responsible for the car company's popular and long-running "Zoom Zoom" campaign. However, the agency has struggled with a series of other client losses since 2006, and has so far been unable to make up the shortfall with more than a handful of significant wins. Advertising Age estimated US revenues of $169m in 2008.
