Nestlé Dreyer's Ice Cream (US)

Nestlé Dreyer's is the #1 ice cream manufacturer in the US. It was formed in 2002 from Nestlé's acquisition of a controlling stake in local manufacturer Dreyer's Grand, and now manages a substantial portfolio targeting the frozen snack, premium and super-premium sectors of the ice
cream market. For
historical reasons it still produces identical products which are sold in the Western United States under the Dreyer's name and as
Edy's on the East coast. Following the takeover by Nestlé it also has responsibility for that company's various impulse products,
such as Drumstick and Crunch, as well as super-premium Haagen-Dazs. The business is wholly
owned by Nestlé.
