Dreyer's Grand / Nestlé Ice Cream (US)

Dreyer's Grand is the #1 ice cream manufacturer in the US. Following a merger with the local ice cream interests of food giant Nestlé in 2002, Dreyer's now manages a substantial portfolio targeting the frozen snack, premium and super-premium sectors of the ice cream market. For historical reasons it still produces identical products which are sold in the Western United States under the Dreyer's name and as Edy's on the East coast. Following the takeover by Nestlé it also has responsibility for that company's various impulse products, such as Drumstick and Crunch, as well as super-premium Haagen-Dazs. The business is wholly owned by Nestlé.
