Adbrands Weekly Update 14th Nov 2013: Ads of the Week: "Cloud". The ads by Grey's Israeli affiliate Adler Chomsky & Warshavsky for mobile service Pelephone deserve a much wider audience than they generally receive, so we're doing our bit for them here. This long-running campaign offers a
succession of quirky vignettes from the same brightly coloured cartoon-like alternative universe, which couldn't be further removed from the bustling streets of Tel Aviv. Every one a charmer in its own right.

Adbrands Weekly Update 22nd Aug 2013: Grey lost two significant accounts to its WPP sibling JWT this week. In the US, Energizer Holdings moved its collection of personal care products, including Hawaiian Tropic and Banana Boat sun care and Playtex feminine protection, from Grey to
JWT. That collection is likely to be
expanded further when Energizer completes the acquisition of Johnson & Johnson's Stayfree and OB sanpro products later this year. The move was prompted by Grey's recent win of the global Gillette account: Energizer also owns Schick Wilkinson Sword, Gillette's main global rival, also already
managed by JWT. That gain was followed by news today that JWT is to take back responsibility for the UK retail and wealth management business of HSBC, five months after the account was transferred to Grey. The latter will retain other European creative for

Ads of the Week: Vodafone "Lake" by Grey London. Staying in the summer spirit, here's an equally gorgeous spot from Grey London for Vodafone across Europe. Great creative work, and especially sound design. Wind and water and crickets and one of

Adbrands Weekly Update 2nd May 2013: Grey has scored one of the most striking creative victories of the past couple of years, winning P&G's global Gillette account from long-time incumbent BBDO following a three-way shoot-out with
Saatchi & Saatchi. It's Grey's second big win in a month, after the capture of the bulk of the global HSBC account from WPP sibling JWT. BBDO will retain the smaller Venus and Braun accounts, but the main Gillette men's grooming business transfers to the WPP agency in stages over the next
three months. Total spend is undisclosed, but almost certainly in excess of $300m worldwide, including around $145m in the US. Grey is of course well-established as one of P&G's main agencies, alongside Saatchi and Publicis. BBDO joined the roster for the first time as a result of P&G's
acquisition of Gillette.
