Mediaedge:cia

Mediaedge:cia is one of four media networks within WPP, partnering Mindshare, MediaCom and Maxus. It was formed from the merger in 2001 of The Media Edge, previously a division of Young & Rubicam, with highly regarded Eurocentric media agency CIA, acquired by WPP earlier that year. In 2007, Mediaedge:cia was the world's #6 media agency with billings of $19.1bn (according to Recma). Increasingly, the agency is known by its initials of MEC rather than the mouthful that is Mediaedge:cia. Click here for the Adbrands.net profile (subscribers only); or subscribe to Adbrands.net here.
