Starcom MediaVest Group (US)


Media network Starcom MediaVest was formed in 2000 from the merger of the media arms of Leo Burnett and D'Arcy. The group still operates separate units under the Starcom and MediaVest names in some markets, notably the US and UK. It now sits within Publicis Group, a partner to stablemate ZenithOptimedia. In 2008, Starcom MediaVest was the #2 media specialist worldwide with billings of $30.3bn (according to Recma). It is strongest in North America, and has a lower ranking in other markets, Europe in particular.
