The local outpost of Leo Burnett is one of Australia's leading creative agencies, and in 2011 became the first Australian agency ever to feature among the Gunn Report's annual top ten of the world's most awarded advertising agencies. The agency has a cupboard full of Agency of the Year accolades, most recently from Campaign Asia for 2015 as Australia Creative Agency of the Year. However, the Sydney agency also caused a storm of protest from some corners of the industry that year by appointing a new all-male creative team. Among other notable achievements, Leo Australia created the global Earth Hour initiative, on behalf of local client WWF. There are full-service offices in both Sydney and Melbourne. Leo Burnett Australia group chairman and former regional CEO Todd Sampson resigned from the business in early 2017. Melinda Geertz is now regional CEO. Another great campaign for Honda from Leo Burnett Australia, demonstrating the same sort of surreal inventiveness that distinguished the agency's last "Dreamy" spot. And how about that awesome final punchline? A showstopper, but delivered with such casual nonchalance. Excellent, confident work.

Instead, here's a wonderful brain-twister of a spot from Leo Burnett Australia for Honda. We love ads like this, freaky ideas plus comedy plus big production values. They even got in some nice shots of the car.
