Havas Canada is the current name for what was previously Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG. It was changed in 2012 as part of the global rebrand of the Euro RSCG network, although the agency was still run until 2014 by group chairman Bill Sharpe, whose Toronto agency (co-founded with Tom Blackmore) was acquired by Havas in 1998. Following Sharpe's retirement in 2014, all the group's offices were united under the leadership of CEO Ann Bouthillier (former head of Montreal-based Francophone shop Palm+Havas) and CCO Helen Pak (ex Saatchi Canada and Facebook). Bouthillier's departure a year later resulted in Pak's promotion to CEO. Palm+Havas adopted the uniform Havas brand soon afterwards. M-commerce developer Plastic Mobile was acquired the same year, and operates separately. Montreal digital shop TP1 was acquired in 2016 and was absorbed into the main Havas agency. However, Helen Pak also departed the agency in early 2017 (for Grey). Tom Olesinski is now CEO. Other group outposts in Canada include Havas Media, CRM shop Havas Helia, healthcare brands Havas Life and H4B, as well as an office of sister agency Arnold.
