Lg2 is an independently owned advertising and design agency specialising in Francophone marketing for the Quebec region. It manages a large roster of local, mainly French-speaking clients in and around the state, but opened its first office in English-speaking Canada in Toronto in 2014. Though small, Lg2 punches above its weight creatively, featuring regularly among Canadian national awards rankings. It was Agency of the Year for 2015 at Canada's Clio awards, and the single most awarded agency at Marketing Canada's annual event. It won its first ever Cannes Lion in 2012 with a campaign for snack client Krispy Kernels. Branding and design offshoot Lg2 Boutique was launched at the end of 2013. Launched in 1991, the agency is still owned by founders Sylvain Labarre and Paul Gauthier (the L and G of the company name). Mireille Cote, Mathieu Roy and Jeremy Gayton were appointed as joint presidents in 2016, heading each of the agency's three outposts.
