Jell-o "Combover" by Crispin Porter & Bogusky (2013)

There once was a time when food giant Kraft inspired a regular stream of top-notch creative work from a roster of America's finest agencies. We featured an equally memorable spot for Miracle Whip last week. This was also (just towards the end of) the time when new work from Crispin Porter & Bogusky was anticipated with bated breath. Coincidentally, CP&B had by this point also developed a reputation for finding absolutely the most perfect child actors for their ads. Here's one such example, a charming, funny but also deeply poignant tale of premature anxiety, temporarily solved by the pleasures of Jell-o chocolate pudding. When we complain about the daily grind of office life to our kids, we rarely think about the ways they might interpret it in their own innocent little minds. It might go something like this. That kid's stressed little face when the boss tears up his drawing is just adorable.
