Havas Worldwide Germany

Havas Worldwide Germany is one of three main hubs within the Havas Worldwide Europe network, alongside France and the UK. Headquartered in Duesseldorf, the main agency also operates an office in Munich. The latter spent a few years in the 2000s under the name Luebke Prey to resolve client conflicts, and now houses standalone unit Havas Fuel, managing the local Volvo account separately from the main Peugeot and Citroen business in Duesseldorf. Havas Media is based in Frankfurt, while Hamburg is the home of Havas PR, formerly, under the name of ABC, one of Germany's biggest PR agencies, first launched in 1965. ABC was acquired in 1989 by what was then the French marketing group Eurocom, which also handled the local Henkel advertising account. Eurocom merged with its counterpart RSCG two years later, and built its presence in Germany with the acquisition of several diversified marketing services agencies, including Kremer Foerster Hintze in 1999 and Dorfer Relationship Communications in 2002. By early 2003, the group operated a string of separate shops in Germany including lead shop Euro RSCG Thomsen Roehle, as well as Euro RSCG Kremer Foerster and Euro RSCG Gietz Heinemann. Several of these were merged or rebranded during 2003 to form the current structure, before adopting the Havas Worldwide name in 2012. Christian Claus is local CEO, with Felix Glauner as chief creative officer. Adbrands does not currently profile this company but subscribers may access account assignments and contact information.
