Kolle Rebbe is a full service creative agency with a reputation for strong creative output. It was in fact the single most awarded German agency at the Cannes Lions festival in 2014 with 8 Lions (including 2 Gold), prompting its selection as Agency of the Year by local trade paper W&V. It generally features among the country's Top Ten by creative awards each year. The agency has enjoyed a run of success over the past few years, with the capture of several important accounts, most notably the global Lufthansa airlines business from McCann (despite pitch competition from BBDO Worldwide), and mobile service O2. Satellite agency Korefe is one of Germany's leading corporate ID and packaging design consultancies. In 2016, Kolle Rebbe launched a content marketing joint venture with B2B specialist Territory. The business was founded in 1994 by Stefan Kolle with partner Stephan Rebbe. They jointly ran the agency until 2015 when Rebbe stepped down unexpectedly, declaring that "advertising has become unsexy". Kolle remained managing partner and creative leader until his sudden death in 2017 at the age of just 55. Andreas Winter-Buerke and Lennart Wittgen are joint managing directors. Kolle Rebbe declared turnover of E35m for 2016, on billings of E232m.
