Lowe Profero

Independently owned digital network Profero was acquired at the beginning of 2014 by Interpublic for an undisclosed sum. It became the global digital division of what is now Mullen Lowe Group network under the new name Lowe Profero. It is a leading full service interactive agency, originating in the UK, but with an extensive footprint in Asia as well as an office in New York. However, affiliate relationships in continental Europe (including one with Serviceplan's Plan.net) were surrendered after the Lowe deal. Although it offers a full portfolio of digital marketing disciplines including website design and build and search marketing, the company is best-known for planning, creating and buying online advertising campaigns. Wayne Arnold remains global CEO of Lowe Profero. Prior to the sale, he and his brother Daryl had jointly controlled 42% of Profero's shares. According to filed accounts, group turnover for 2014 was 60m. Almost half of revenues were generated in Asia, around a third in the UK and the rest in the US.
