Like rival Wunderman, the UK arm of Omnicom's Rapp network now positions itself primarily as a data-driven digital CRM provider rather than a traditional direct marketer. It also provides a full range of other services from above-the-line advertising and direct marketing to database management and analytics. The UK agency forms the cornerstone to Rapp's European network, with its main office in London (now sitting alongside most of Omnicom's other London-based agencies in their extensive South Bank complex) and a data analytics centre near Gatwick Airport. Until comparatively recently, Rapp's UK outpost was known by the mouthful of WWAV Rapp Collins, but adopted the shortened name in 2008. Former UK CEO Marco Scognamiglio now leads the global network. Chris Freeland is CEO of Rapp UK. Rapp Ltd reported turnover of £35.8m in 2016, on billings of over £49m, and a solid profit of £3.8m. Separately branded shopper marketing agency Haygarth also worked under the Rapp umbrella for a while, following its acquisition in 2014, and that year the group also absorbed what remained of the former Claydon Heeley. However, it was subsequently transferred out of Rapp to form part of DDB's UK portfolio at the same time as a large part of what was then the global Rapp network was split off to form Track, also aligned with DDB. The remaining Rapp network, including the UK office, now reports as a unit of Omnicom's DAS Global diversified marketing services division.
