Salmon is a UK-based technology developer with particular strengths in e-commerce and transactional services. Founded in 1989, it is headquartered in the UK, but also has offices in the US, China and Australia. The agency was acquired in 2013 by WPP, though it continues to operate as a standalone unit. In 2017, it was brought under the wing of the Y&R Group's Wunderman network as the cornerstone of a new Wunderman Commerce offering. Market watcher Econsultancy estimated fee income of £41m in 2014, making it one of the UK's top ten digital agencies. Founder Chris Harvey left the business following the acquisition; former sales manager Neil Stewart is now CEO.
