Total Media (UK)


Total Media is among the largest of the UK's remaining media independents. The privately owned agency handles mainly smaller accounts, with a solid track record in arts or cultural clients. More recently though it picked up two important technology accounts in Lenovo and Epson. Nielsen estimated billings of 26m in 2015, down sharply from past highs, but reported turnover was somewhat higher, and has oscillated between 55m to 65m for the past decade or so. The business is still controlled and run by executive chairman Mike Sell, who launched the business in 1982 following a career at Davidson Pearce and Interlink. Guy Sellers is chief executive.
