AdAsia is a leading multicultural agency, based in Los Angeles. It was launched in 1998 as a breakaway from Kang & Lee, later one of its main rivals. Former K&L co-founder Kevin Lee remains CEO of AdAsia. The new shop's first client was telecoms company Bell Atlantic, later to become Verizon, whose business continues to form the cornerstone of AdAsia's operations. Advertising Age estimated US revenues of $16m in 2015, making AdAsia the #2 Asian specialist agency in the US.
