Global Experience Specialists, or GES, is a leading provider of exhibition, conference and event services, primarily in the US (where it has over 50 offices) as well as Canada and across the EMEA region. It is the main business within Viad Corp, a conglomerate also involved in tourism and recreation services in Alaska and Canada under the Pursuit banner. GES was formed in 2010 from the merger of three previously separate units, GES Exposition Services, Exhibitgroup/Giltspur and Becker Group. It provides a full range of exhibition services including outsourced event management on behalf of organisers, and installation design and build for individual exhibitors. The business traces its roots back to Manncraft, an exhibitor services company acquired in the 1960s by the Greyhound Corporation bus company. Greyhound changed the name of the business to GES, which then stood for Greyhound Exposition Services. For 2017, the "exhibits & environments" division, the one which offers installation design and marketing, reported revenues of $166m; the convention & event services operations generated a further $967m. It handled well over 4,000 live events over the course of the year. Steve Moster is CEO of both GES and Viad.
