Lopez Negrete is one of the leading multicultural agencies in the US specialising in the Hispanic market. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, it also has an office in Los Angeles. It was established in 1985 by husband and wife team Alex and Cathy Lopez Negrete, still CEO and COO respectively, as well as co-owners. The most significant development in its history was arguably the capture of Walmart's Hispanic marketing account in 1994, which it still holds. The agency remains entirely independent.
