Moxie is a full-service digital agency with four offices in the US. It is owned by Publicis Groupe. Unlike most other such agencies, Moxie operates not as part of a creative network or as a standalone agency, but under the umbrella of media network Zenith. That's primarily as a result of its positioning as a specialist in digital content, rather than traditional web design or ecommerce. In 2013, the group acquired Enguage, a digital & direct agency in Ohio, for an undisclosed sum and the two business were combined under the Moxie name. That almost doubled the agency's size. AdAge estimated revenues of $110m for 2015. Suzy Deering resigned as CEO of Moxie in 2015 to become CMO of eBay. She was replaced by Sean Reardon, also CEO of Zenith USA. Solange Claudio is president. Moxie was originally launched in 2000 by former commercials prodco executive Kris Zagoria. She sold the business to Publicis in 2006, and left the company three years later. Adbrands Weekly Update 13th Mar 2014: Publicis Groupe's Moxie and Enguage digital strategy and content agencies officially merged as a single business under the Moxie name. The merged unit continues to operate under the umbrella of media network ZenithOptimedia.
Adbrands Weekly Update 15th Aug 2013: Maurice Levy just can't stop buying companies. This week, he pushed ahead with another acquisition, snapping up US digital marketer Enguage for an undisclosed sum. The business is to be merged with Moxie, the digital content business which already sits within Publicis' ZenithOptimedia network. The new name of the combined business hasn't been confirmed; currently it's billed as MoxieEnguage.
