Originally a spin-off from the Bozell network, TM Advertising (formerly Temerlin McClain) is one of the largest full-service agencies in the US Southwest. Having previously operated as a standalone agency within the True North portfolio, TM retained its notional independence within Interpublic, although it was aligned with McCann Worldgroup. Performance has been a little uneven for several years, with the agency heavily reliant upon cornerstone client American Airlines. That account finally departed in 2015. Two years later, TM's management team bought back the agency from Interpublic to become independent.
